Bourdain is now so beloved that even CNN is taking him on. Anthony will shed his No Reservations show (don't sniffle into tissues just yet) and the entire Travel Channel for the larger news network, beginning in early 2013.
You'll still Bourdain on TV almost up until then, as the 8th season of No Res airs like normal, and he maintains his blog and increasing presence on Twitter.
Hollywood Reporter has all the goods on the show for you hardcore Bourdain fans. The facts to take away from all this, however, are that Bourdain will be on CNN on Sunday nights in 2013, with an as-yet-unnamed show. The show will be similar in format to No Reservations, but it sounds like CNN is ready to let Anthony go wild, destination and situation-wise, which can only be awesome.
