How To Get Tickets To This Summer's CBGB Festival in NYC

After being closed for more than 5 years, one of NYC's most famous clubs, CBGB, is being resurrected as a music festival.
The festival will be similar to Austin's SXSW and will include conferences, workshops, rock 'n' roll movie screenings, and performances by more than 300 band at venues across New York City.
The Cro-Mags, Vision of Disorder, Sick of It All, Guided by Voices, the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Cloud Nothings, the Baseball Project, So So Glos, Firehorse, the Dirty Pearls, D Generation, and Sister Sparrow are all part of the music line-up.
The centerpiece of the festival will be a free concert at SummerStage in Central Park headlined by Guided by Voices.
The CBGB Festival will take place July 5th - July 8th, 2012. Discounted passes are on sale now through May 31. Prices range from $69 for a Music Showcase Badge to $299 for the Film/Music Combo Badge. On June 1 ticket prices will go up to $79 - $399, walk up passes sold during the festival will range from $89 - $499. You can purchase ticket online at http://cbgb.com/badges.
