Since Wadiya doesn't actually exist, producers searched the world for a location grand enough to stand in for the Wadiya Presidential Palace and they found it in Seville, Spain.
Seville's Plaza de España turned out to be the perfect location for the palace. It was built for the Ibero-american Exhibition of 1929 and remains one of Seville's most famous sights. Two towers frame the square with a network of galleries running between them, perfect for any dictator.
To see the Plaza de España, and other famous locations in Seville, you can purchase a tourist card for 24-120 hours at a discounted rate. A 24-hour card will grant you entry into two museums of your choice for €31.35.
