Virtually Page Through Boeing's History With Their New iPad App

Sometimes we just want to pass on Words With Friends or Draw Something and just take it easy with something a little more relaxing. Thankfully Boeing knows us too well, as their very first iPad app is like the world’s best coffee table book for your tablet. We just hope we don’t spill our Diet Coke on it while its resting on the tray table.

Known as Milestones in Innovation, the app features plenty of bits and pieces from across Boeing’s history. It’s just enough to entertain you during a flight, but at the same time covers so much material that it might just put you to sleep during an awful redeye flight. The look back in time covers around 90 years or so of aviation history, and of course they don’t forget about 2012 either—there’s plenty of 787 information.

The best part of the app is that it’s totally free, so you really can’t go wrong. However, we’d probably be a little bit annoyed if they charged for it. After all, it’s pretty much just one big commercial for the wonderful world of Boeing. Let’s just say that they found some suckers in us, because we’d definitely blow a few million on our very own Boeing Business Jet.
