On Saturday thousands will head to Churchill Downs to place their bets on the 138th Kentucky Derby.
If you want to get in on the action but still haven't purchased tickets, it's not too late. Though you won't have a seat, or a good view of the track, you can still purchase a General Admission ticket for access to the paddock area (where you can see the horses), the Gate 10 corridor, and the infield.
You can still purchase General Admission tickets for Oaks Day on Friday, May 4 too. These also only provide admission to standing room areas but, on the upside, Oaks Day tickets are only $20.
Advance tickets to the Derby (which you can print at home) cost $40, You can order both online at http://www.kentuckyderby.com/tickets/2012-general-admission.
