How To Get Tickets To The Ebertfest in Champaign, IL

Critic Roger Ebert has recently announced the line-up of his 14th annual film festival, known as the Ebertfest, which will take place at the Virginia Theatre in Champaign, IL on April 25- 29.

This year's films includes a mix of classics and recent award nominees like Citizen Cane, A Separation, Higher Ground, Joe versus the Volcano, Phunny Business: A Black Comedy, Big Fan (with an appearance by the movie's star Patton Oswalt), Kinyarwanda, Terri, On Borrowed Time, Patang, and Take Shelter (with the movie's star Michael Shannon).

Along with these films, the fest will also includes talks with the directors, writers, and producers who made the movies possible.

Festival passes have already sold out, but the Virginia Theater does have a waiting list for those who would still like passes in case more become available, you can call the Virginia Theatre at 217-356-9063 to be placed on the list.

Though the passes are gone, there are still individual tickets available to most screenings. Ticket prices are $13 for each screening, student & senior tickets are $11 each. Tickets can be purchased online at thevirginia.org. For more information about Ebertfest 2012, visit ebertfest.com.
