I'm a Summit member and LOVE Frontier, but the cookies were never a draw for me. They always smelled a little too cookie-y to be appealing. The free baggage, TV and no change fees I get as a Summit member are the big bonus rewards. Besides, the cookies are a Midwest hang over. Bring on the Frontier signature!
Jill is correctthe cookies are a tradition of Midwest Airlines and they've only figured into Frontier history for almost exactly two years, when Midwest was folded into Frontier in April 2010.
Replacing the cookies will be Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers and Barnum’s Animal Crackers. If you're a frequent flyer like Jill, or an unaccompanied minor, you'll be handed the 1oz snacks for free. Regular passengers will have to pony up $1.
If you're truly heartbroken by the lack of cookies, there is still a way to get your teeth into the very ones formerly served onboard. All the details are here, but beware that it does involve a trip to Milwaukee!
