Delta Still Believes in LaGuardia

It seems like we’ve been following the goings on at Delta’s home at New York-LaGuardia for quite some time. First they were all like, we’re taking over with plenty of flights, and then they let everyone know that they were planning on making the airport experience great once again.

At this point Delta has plenty of nonstop flights out of LGA to destinations across the country, but they’re still busy at work completing the renovations within the terminals.

We already revealed some of their latest dining updates, shopping opportunities and free iPad usage within the airport, but the airline has just broke ground on even more fun stuff.

Delta just broke ground on a 600-foot bridge that will allow easy access between Terminal C and Terminal D, and if all goes well the new walkway should definitely improve access to all of Delta’s 29 gates at LaGuardia. That’s not the only place with plenty of hardhats either, as it sounds like some of the final touches are going into the airport’s newest Delta Sky Club, scheduled to open at some point this summer.

We already decided—based on our last experience at LGA—that Delta was back in the game when it comes to options at the airport, but believe it or not it looks like it’s going to get even better as 2012 rolls on.
