What's In Your Travel Cosmetic Case, Rebecca?

Last season, we showed you what we (and some other notable travelers) pack in a carry-on. Now it's time to get personal. All this week, the intrepid contributors here at Jaunted will open our dopp kits and cosmetic cases to reveal what keeps us looking so damn good.

Hi, I'm Rebecca— aka MsRebecca. Like some of my fellow Jaunted eds opening up their cosmetic cases this week, you can often find me over at HotelChatter, where I tend to obsess over hotel toiletries and cute hotel doggies. After more than a decade in NYC, I now live in Miami Beach, which makes traveling to the Caribbean a breeze. So I try to do that a lot.

Like Juliana, I usually have another TSA-approved bag for liquids, some of which you see here. How much I pack depends on where I'm going; the general rule being if I'm hitting the beach, I need as much sunscreen as TSA deems legal, and less makeup. But this is a pretty good version of my ever-changing lineup, minus the shampoo and conditioner and shower gel, which I like to check out at my hotel. (Did I mention I tend to obsess over miniature-sized beauty products?)

The bag: Collette Dinnigan for Qantas. I think this was the First Class amenity kit some years back. Sadly, I didn't get it flying First--I was in Economy on one of my frequent flights to Sydney and a friend of a friend was serving in the cabin. He brought me some goodies like this kit to make my coach haul more bearable. Fun fact: I once saw Miranda Kerr pull the same Collette Dinnigan for Qantas case out of her Prada purse backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Now, she's a Qantas Ambassador.

The contents:

· Supergoop! Sunscreen Swipes SPF 30 (I was already a fan of the brand and got these in a recent Birchbox, an awesome monthly membership deal that sends you samples of beauty goodies.)
· Berocca, a wonder vitamin from Australia that I load up on every time I go home. Instant hangover cure.
· Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion: gives you 2nd-day volume and texture on the go.
· CVS Sport SPF 30 (I go through sunscreen quickly, and I try all kinds)
· Color Club mini nail lacquer, also from Birchbox
· Savlon Antiseptic Cream: another Aussie wonder. Great for bee stings, mosquito bites, blisters, etc.
· Small bottle of hairspray, this one's Pantene
· Moisturizer from a recent hotel stay, this one's Malin + Goetz and I think it's from one of the Morgans Hotels
· Cleanser, when I remember to pack it (here, a CeraVe sample)
· Hand sanitizer
· Dr. Dennis Gross All-in-One Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 (it's either this or a BB cream all the way)
· Revlon PhotoReady Concealer
· More sunscreen, this one sheer and SPF 70
· Lady razor
· Teensy dental floss
· Emery board from hotel bathroom
· Fold-up comb from Muji
· Bobbi Brown Classic to Go Palette (eye shadow and lip color inside)
· Black eyeliner (this one from Nuance. You know, Salma Hayek's line)
· Black mascara, LashBlastLength by Cover Girl
· Shelter Balm by Como Shambala (rub on temples to escape travel hell and be reminded of Parrot Cay... Ah...)
· Assortment of lip balms, one tinted by Burt's Bees
· NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul. Love.
· Aveeno Anti-Fatigue Eye Treatment (for de-puffing eyes, in conjunction with the Berocca)

Not pictured, but I also pack my toothbrush and a travel-sized toothpaste (I swear).

So, what do you stuff in your toiletry kit? Let us know, below.

Berocca!

I want that. I've never heard of it before but I instantly want it.

Berocca is the bomb

From what I hear, you can now buy it in select Duane Reades in NYC -- look for it! I find it so hard to part with any from my stash...

Yay Travel Kits!

I am obsessed with "what's in YOUR bag" style posts (nosy much? YES) and lucky for me they seem to be trending! Have you seen Excellent Hotels' version? I saw it on pinterest http://blog.excellenthotels.com/04/whats-in-your-travel-bag
