Models. Beach Volleyball. This Weekend in South Beach (Where Else?)

While this may be a familiar scene any day of the week in South Beach, this is not your regular beach volleyball tournament. Those people? Models. And if you're in Miami this weekend, you're in luck because The Ludus Athletics Model Beach Volleyball Tournament takes place Saturday and Sunday--and it's free and open to the public.

So if you couldn't get tickets to the wine and food fest, or missed out on Madonna's surprise appearance at Ultra last weekend, console yourself with the fact that you still have time to hit South Beach and catch one of the prettiest events of the year.

The tournament--which pits modeling agency against modeling agency, men and women--is in its third installment, with this year's lineup including real-life women's pro team April Ross & Jennifer Kessy Champions and 2012 Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal.

If you want to see beautiful, buff people jump around, jump around, jump up, jump up and get down, head on over to Ocean Drive at 11th Street on Saturday and Sunday. Aside from the eye candy, there'll be a Leblon Cachaca truck serving caipirinhas in the VIP tent, so start practicing your fast talking.

For even more opportunities to be a modelizer, you should know that the official kickoff party for the tourney takes place tomorrow night at WALL inside the W South Beach, and the official after party is slated for Saturday night at the Perry Hotel Rooftop, from 9 p.m. It's even open to the public, with a suggested donation to Models4Water, the charity of choice for the beautiful.

As for what the models are working up a sweat for? The finalists and winners will receive a weekend getaway to Bimini Bay Resort and Marina in the Bahamas, where they'll stage a rematch, along with a Glam Rock watch and a year's membership to Crunch.
