Help Brad Pitt 'Make It Right' in New Orleans' Ninth Ward

Earlier this month Ellen DeGeneres took a tour of New Orleans' 9th Ward with Brad Pitt, whose Make It Right organization has been working to rebuild the neighborhood after Hurricane Katrina.

During her tour, Ellen also met several young volunteers who have been helping Pitt in his efforts by painting, putting up dry wall, and doing other odd jobs around the newly built houses.

According to Volunteer Match, Mary G Smith is currently handling volunteer opportunities with Make It Right and can be contacted via phone at 504-620-3240. If you live in the NOLA area, they are also specifically looking for volunteers to work in their office, located at 1055 St Charles Ave, Suite 500, answering calls and doing reception work for 2 hours a day, several days a week.

For those who can't make it to NOLA, you can show your support for Brad's project by purchasing a nifty hat or t-shirt with all of the proceeds going to Make It Right.
