San Diego Comic-Con to Give Fans a Second Chance at Badges
When tickets to San Diego Comic-Con went on sale March 3rd the badges sold out in 90 minutes, but many fans were left out in the cold due to problems with the link Comic-Con sent out to registered users.
In an attempt to make it up to those fans, Comic-Con is going to resell returned tickets tomorrow morning. The resale event will be open only to those who already have a confirmed Member ID and have not already purchased a 4 day pass or a Saturday night ticket. The online ticket resale will take place on March 27 at 8:00 a.m. PST so get your alarm clock ready.
If you missed out on getting a Comic-Con Member ID, Comic-Con will also sell additional returned badges to the general public sometime after May 15, 2012.
In other Comic-Con mews, the hotel reservation system for Comic-Con opens Thursday at 9 a.m. PT. They've posted a list of hotels offering discounted rates on their website. Those attending the con can select up to 20 hotels where they would be willing to stay and will then receive a confirmation with reservations to one of them on April 1.
