How to Get Tickets to the Tribeca Film Festival 2012

Yesterday, the Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) announced that The Five-Year Engagement will open this year's fest. The movie stars Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as an engaged couple that "keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle." The premiere will take place on Wednesday, April 18, and the Festival will run through April 29.
American Express Card members can purchase advance selection ticket packages and passes beginning Monday, March 5. Passes go on sale to the general public on Monday, March 12. All advance selection packages and passes can be purchased online at www.tribecafilm.com, or by calling (866) 941-FEST (3378).
Single tickets and discounted ticket package sales begin Tuesday, April 10 for American Express Card holders, on Sunday, April 15 for downtown NYC residents, and on Monday, April 16 for everyone else. Single tickets can be purchased online, by telephone, or at the following locations: Tribeca Cinemas at 54 Varick Street, Chelsea Clearview Cinemas at 260 W. 23rd Street, and AMC Loews Village VII at 66 3rd Avenue. Individual tickets will be $16.00 for evening and weekend screenings, and $8.00 for all late night and weekday matinee screenings.
