How to Volunteer at San Diego Comic-Con 2012

San Diego International Comic-Con is still months away, but if you want to volunteer at the world's largest comic convention, you better act soon.

Tickets to SDCC are notoriously hard to get, but there is another way to get into the San Diego Convention Center—and it's free. Online volunteer registration for Comic-Con officially opened this week, but space is limited so it's best to apply as soon as possible.

To apply, visit https://secure2.comic-con.org/memberid/ and create a Member ID (if you don't already have one). Then, click the volunteer button on the bottom of the "Member ID Change Menu." This will bring you to the application page.

If you are selected to be a volunteer (returning volunteers get first priority, followed by new applicants in the order their applications were received), you will receive a confirmation 10 days after registration closes. Good luck!
