After helping the needy, Ricky requested he try bungee jumping one more time after chickening out in an earlier episode. Ricky even offered to buy one of the huts for a local family if Karl would do it, but he still couldn't bring himself to take the leap.

Next, Karl loaded his stuff into a caravan and headed toward Uganda to search for gorillas. Along the way he visited a woman who had a pet hippo, made lunch for a king, and paid a visit to the Entabeni Nature Reserve to help relocate a rhino.

At Entabeni, Karl's guide, Lee, taught him how to identify an animal by tasting their poop, which Karl seemed more than willing to do.We would assume most people would bungee jump before they would eat a wild animal's poo, but there's no question Karl is one-of-a-kind.

After a bumpy 12-hour ride and a 10-hour walk through the Impenetrable Forest, Karl finally came across a gorilla family, and for once he actually seemed moved by the experience as he realized how endangered they were as a species. "You could get all gorillas on one flight, that is a problem," he pondered.
