You can click through our gallery for some of the tastiest stops on our tour, and here's the skinny on how it works: the tour is guided by a representative from Edible Canada (a store and restaurant on Granville Island and a champion of B.C. produce, ingredients and cooking) and takes up to two hours.
You'll need at least two people to take the tour and a max of eight. It costs $35 per person plus gratuity and you must book in advance. There's also a chef-guided Sample & Shop Tour, which is $75 per person but lasts a bit longer and lets you use the chef as your personal shopper as you browse the market.
Right now there's a special Dine Out Vancouver rate for the Market Tour of $25 per person--but it's only valid until Sunday. So reserve your space now and reserve some space in your tummy and your tote bag. You'll need it.
Disclosure: Our market tour was as a guest of Edible Canada, but all opinions are our own.
