You’re going to need to search the photo archives—or just make a new memory—as Southwest wants to see how you’re getting into the holiday spirit. Following them on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram is step one, and then go ahead and post your photograph to Instagram. The catch is that there’s going to be a different theme each and every day, so keep your eyes—and phones—focused on social media, as Southwest will reveal the theme at a different time each day.

Be sure to include @SouthwestAir and the #12daysofLUV hash tag with the photo in your Instagram, as that’s how they’ll know that you’re throwing your hat into the ring for a chance to win. That’s all you have to do, as after that it’s up to a panel of judges to determine the most “creative and crafty” entry of the day. If you’re the winner we’re sure that Southwest will be in touch, as they’ll want to get you that $1,000 gift card as soon as possible.
