You know we love us a good beer festival, but sometimes we could use a little more entertainment than just the ales and lagers. Thatís why we were excited to hear about some of these more unique options going down this month, so letís raise our glasses to three November beer festivals that offer up a little extra.

Auto and Ales Ė Hershey, Pennsylvania

Everyone knows itís not a good idea to mix drinking with driving, but as long as you keep the automobiles and alcohol separate itís totally fine. Thatís what is scheduled for this FridayóNovember 9óover in Hershey, Pennsylvania at the Antique Automobile Club of America. Itís what theyíre calling Auto and Ales, and itís ready to do its thing between 6pm and 10pm.

Itís the third year of the festival, as organizers promise to bring together some of the areaís best craft brewers and best classic cars. Thereís no getting behind the wheel at this event, but you are encouraged to savor a few sips while enjoying the view. Appalachian Brewing Company, Lancaster Brewing Company, and Snitz Creek Brewery are just a few of those scheduled to be in attendance, and the sips and samples can be yours for just $40.

Palm Springs Props and Hops Ė Palm Springs, California

Weíre not trying to double book you for this upcoming weekend, but if you have time on Saturday itís best to make your way out to Palm Springs, California. Airplanes and alcohol will be the starring attractions at the Palm Springs Props and Hops Craft Beer Conclave, and itís all happening on November 10 at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

Ass Kisser Ales, Donkey Punch Brewing Company, and Hanger 24 are just some of the breweries scheduled to roll out their taps and kegs to the event. Itís $30 per person for general admission access to plenty of sips and samples, and there will even be food trucks like Short Stop BBQ and Devilicious on hand to fill you up when the beer munchies strike. Best of all one attendee will even score a ticket off to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, so there will be more sudsy sips to be had for the lucky winner.

Bathtub Beer Fest - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Finally thereís a beer festival going on this month where you can learn a little history while you relax with a pint of porter. Doing its thing along side an exhibit on prohibition over at the National Constitution Center is the Bathtub Beer Fest in Philadelphia. Organizers promise things a little out of the ordinary, as theyíre set to display both old-fashioned styles and new varieties.

Admission will set you back $45 in advance, and youíre then free to take in the tastes and offerings from breweries like Fegley's Brew Works, Flying Fish, and Neshaminy Creek. Afterwards stumble on over to the centerís prohibition exhibit, as itís includedólike a $17 valueóin your beer festival ticket.
