If you're sick of the mall but don't necessarily want to do all of your holiday shopping on a laptop, then you'll definitely want to make the trip to the Bazaar Bizarre nearest you.

The free indie craft festival is taking place on December 1st & 2nd at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, on December 8th & 9th in Cleveland at the 78th Street Studios, and at BCA Cyclorama in Boston on December 16th.

The festivals bring together hundreds of local artists selling handmade art, crafts, and gifts but, as their taglines states, these aren't your granny's crafts. In San Francisco you'll be able to pick up a wood bowtie from Wood Thumb, in Boston you can check out Muffy Brandt's neon leggings, and in Cleveland you can have your photo taken in the Magnolia Photo Booth.

Each Bazaar Bizarre will have fun, free DIY workshops, like paper silk screening and gift wrapping stations, too.
