Atlanta
At the city’s Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport there are a whole lot of travelers doing their best to catch their flights, but for those that have a little bit of time there’s a chance to grab your flu shot as well. They’ve been doing this for a few years now, and 2012 is no different. AeroClinic offers up routine and preventive care, and they do it all from Atrium Level 3 of the Main Terminal. Flu shots are also available at kiosks scattered about the concourses, so they’re kind of all over the place.
San Francisco
Before you do the security shuffle you might just want to swing by for a flu shot when traveling out of SFO. Seasonal vaccines are yours for the taking thanks to the folks at the SFO Medical Clinic. It’s on the departures and ticketing level of the man international terminal—like on the A side. They want you to give them a little warning that you’re coming on down, so take a second and make an appointment.
New York-JFK
Technically this isn’t in the airport, but it’s pretty much right next door. The Airport Medical Offices are located on airport property, as they have set up shop at Building 22A. They’re open on a walk-in basis 24/7, but they do prefer that you try to schedule an appointment during the usual business hours. They’ve got a similar set-up over at Newark-Liberty, so feel free to call ‘em up if you’re in need of some medical care—even if it’s just a flu shot.
Nashville
Carehere! Walk-in Clinic and Wellness Store is located in Concourse C, and they’ve got what you need during this year’s sickness season. Not only do they offer up flu shots and other vaccinations, but they also can provide a little illness care if you’re feeling under the weather. They’ve got a pharmacy on site, over-the-counter stuff, and we’re pretty sure there’s some snacks too—always need those to feel better.
