· KLM:
It’s time for KLM to boost their flight options to and from Africa, as the carrier is planning to start up some new flights to Zimbabwe. The flights will run between Amsterdam and Harare, and the new route will run in combination with service to Lusaka, Zambia. It sounds like they'll doing the flying thing thanks to some of the carrier’s Airbus A330s and are set to fly Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight might be just a little out of the way for a long weekend away from Europe, but it would sure make a great stop on an around-the-world itinerary.

· American Airlines:
There’s plenty of financial stuff going on over at American Airlines, as the carrier deals with restructuring and reorganizing under the terms of their bankruptcy. However, they understand that the show must go on, meaning there's still a need for a few new routes. Thankfully they’re hiring plenty of new pilots, as they’ll need them for the new flights out of Dallas-Fort Worth over to both Lima, Peru—on April 2—and to Seoul, South Korea—on May 9. Chicago-O’Hare is getting in on the fun as well, as they’re getting a flight all the way over to Dusseldorf, Germany beginning on April 11. Finally, it’s New York-JFK’s turn for a new option, as the airport will be connecting with Dublin, Ireland as soon as June 12 of 2013.

· OpenSkies:
If you’re looking to head across the pond in style it is about time that you checkout OpenSkies. The subsidiary of British Airways is looking to operate a new option across the Atlantic, as they’re planning to start nonstop service between New York-JFK and Paris-Orly. The new option is set to debut on March 31 of next year, so now’s a good time to start planning your trip. Technically this is a re-launch of a former route, but we’re not going to complain. Just remember that the carrier is no longer just an option for business class passengers, as now there are a few different options once aboard the plane. There’s flat bed seats in the Biz Bed cabin, nice leather reclining options in Prem Plus, and finally Eco has more of an economy cabin look with a thee-by-three configuration.

· Interjet:
When it comes to new routes in and out of Mexico it seems that each and every week brings more and more news from Interjet. This week things are on the move once again, as Interjet is planning to connect Mexico City with Las Vegas a couple times per week beginning on November 15. Technically they’ll be doing the low cost thing in and out of Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport, but thanks to some creative marketing they’re considering that airport part of the greater Mexico City region. Anyway, prices will start as low as $299 between the two cities, and these introductory prices are scheduled to run through the end of the year.
