Yes! The 'Salmon-Thirty-Salmon' is Back and Better Than Ever

Here it is—the world’s largest flying fish! We’ve always been a fan of Alaska Airlines and their themed paint jobs, and now it looks like version two of this fishy is ready to go.

The original Salmon-Thirty-Salmon was painted to look like a fish back in 2005, but now the special livery is back and better than ever. The new plane is a Boeing 737-800 and will do its usual thing by taking passengers to here and there, but it’ll also serve double duty by promoting sustainable Alaska seafood through a partnership with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute.

A plaque inside welcomes passengers to the world’s largest flying fish, and they’re even informed that the official title of the jet is, in fact, Salmon-Thirty-Salmon II. We’ve got to say that we’re definitely impressed with the overall job that the designers and painters did with this one, so waste a few minutes of your day by checking out the behind-the-scenes video below.
