Where to Spend Your Halloween Amongst 'The Walking Dead'

Universal Studios Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights is back for another year of creepy mazes, "scare zones," monsters and now, zombies too.

In addition to a Silent Hill-themed maze, the Penn and Teller “Vegas” maze, even an Alice Cooper maze, Universal Studios (on both coasts) features a new Walking Dead maze. [Be sure to check out our comprehensive guide to Halloween Horror Nights here].

The Walking Dead maze takes brave fans through the hospital where Rick awoke in season one, an Atlanta set (complete with Merle and his cut off hand), and a barn full of walkers. To recreate the terror of the AMC series, props straight from the show are peppered throughout and all of the zombies ("living" and fake) were created with The Walking Dead make-up artists and the show's co-executive producer Greg Nicotero.

For those who want more, The Terror Tram, which tours Universal’s backlot tour, will also pay tribute to The Walking Dead.

Tickets to Halloween Horror Nights start at $61 can be purchased at halloweenhorrornights.com.
