The "Flying Kangaroo" just keeps cranking out new stuff lately. First we brought you the news about business class passengers will be treated to a chauffeur service on super long-haul flights. Now Qantas has further sweetened the deal for its premium flyers on those long, long flights with four service/amenity upgrades:

· To wind down, passengers will be offered a specially blended tea from Aussie tea purveyors, T2.

· When your ready to slip into your PJs and turn in for the night, cabin crew will top your lie-flat seat with a mattress for added comfort.

· They've traded common airline blankets for quilted duvets in business class. We've slept under the old blankets before and have nothing bad to say about them, but a cozier option is always welcome.

· Each passenger will get a gender-specific Kate Spade New York or Jack Spade pouch filled with Malin+Goetz toiletries and other goodies. Yes, you read correctly—Kate Spade or Jack Spade. Our buddies at Australian Business Traveller have a preview of the Spade pouches.

We also talked about the trial of pre-ordering meals and we are happy to report that it was super successful and will be rolled out to more flights. Starting in the middle of the next month, passengers flying any international long-haul service should have more options in dining with the Select On Q - Eat. Sounds like Qantas wants to take care of their business class customers and we can only cross our fingers that some of the love eventually trickles down to economy.

Now, what airline will be the first to introduce a sleepytime storytime?

I'm so excited I just can't hid it...

Mattress topper and doona? Soon there will be no excuse for jet lag. What a great idea, Qantas. I cannot wait to try this out. I do loved the old blankets; they are a perfect temprature for me. My only problem is... how am I going to fit the doona in my carry on luggage? The pre-order menu is such a great idea. Looking forward to hearing more about this from you.
