Boeing has quite a few planes on backorder at this point, so we wouldn’t expect the deliveries to begin anytime soon. Of course we’ll be sure to let you know when there’s some tickets available to book, but for now you’ll just have to be content with some of Transaero’s other Boeing flavors—like the 747, 777 and 767.

Transaero Busts Out an Oversized Check as They've Got 787s on Order
We knew that Russian airline Transaero was looking to order—and pack the back—some Airbus A380s, but now it seems that their attention has turned to another type of aircraft. If you were dreaming of a long-haul flight to Moscow aboard the big bird, there’s no need to worry as the planes are still on order. However, they are looking to add another type of brandy new airplane to their fleet.
Officials at Boeing and Transaero have completed their business lunch and a deal has been made, as it sounds like the airline is looking to place an order for four Boeing 787s. Auto-dimming windows, increased overhead storage, and those composite wings are now on order, and it sounds like things are definitely coming sooner than later—Transaero has already laid out a down payment.
