· Beer Summit Winter Jubilee – Boston, Massachusetts:
The temperatures are a little chilly in Beantown this time of year, so there’s definitely the need for sudsy warmth. The Beer Summit Winter Jubilee takes place this month on January 20 and January 21 with one session on Friday night and two options on Saturday. Organizers are expecting at least 200 different kinds of porters, stouts, ales, and lagers from like 60 different brewers, and it’ll all be under one roof at the Park Plaza Castle in Boston.
Heavy Seas, Jack's Abby, Newport Storm are just a few of the many breweries packing up the kegs to attend this year’s festivals, so there definitely won’t be a shortage of options—or beverages. Tickets are $42.50 per person, but that includes pretty much all the samples that you’d like to enjoy. Organizers want everyone to have a good time—and somewhat appreciate the beers—so just take it easy.
· Winter Brew Fest – Denver, Colorado:
They’re already known for their fine selection of local brews and blends, but that doesn’t mean that the Mile High City is going to rest on its laurels. Denver’s annual winter beer festival arrives on January 27 at Mile High Station, and tickets are on sale now. Advance admission will set you back $30 per person, and there are also some $40 tickets for those needing the VIP experience. Sample glasses are included with your ticket as well as an unlimited amount of sips and tastes.
In total the festival is hoping to unite brewers and beers from around the state, country, and world, so this is definitely one to add to your calendar. Traditionally this event is a sell-out, so if you’re thinking about attending now might be a good time to whip out that credit card and enter you digits. In addition to the beers, there will be live music to keep you entertained along with plenty of food options to keep you nourished. Boulder Beer, Stone Brewing Company, and Great Divide are just some of the breweries bringing their best, so be sure to pace yourself.
