Go and get 'em! Reservation booking has just opened up here for the semiannual NYC Restaurant Week, aka one of our favorite (and super highly recommended) city food events. This is the 20th anniversary of the event, and the eating takes place for longer this time around, lasting from January 16 - February 10 (weekdays only).

Get over to OpenTable quickly to snap up the best and newest tables, among them Boulud Sud and Maialino, lest you get stuck dining at some Theater District steakhouse that survives on tourists being loose with their money and not too particular about what's on their plate.

Scanning down the list of the hundreds of participating restaurants, many restaurants stand out, like Kutscher's and Lure Fishbar, but rest assured that we'll give you a full run-down of our top picks tomorrow, once we've fully digested the offerings and the many available menus.

As in most years past, the three-course, prix-fixed meals will remain set at $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner (excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities). Scope out some of the grub we've enjoyed during past NYC Restaurant Weeks here. But seriously, get booking!

Pro tip: AMEX cardholders always get something special out of NYCRW. This season, it's a $20 statement credit if you register you card for the promotion here and then dine (and pay with) your AMEX at least three times for NYCRW.
