Some of our recent shots on Instagram

Yo. We already told you last week that we're now on Instagram (username: jaunted), but we thought we'd give you a fair warning that things are about to quadruple in awesome as we prepare for a late winter and spring insanely packed with international travel. That means more awesome, behind-the-scenes travel shots on Instagram from our writers...wherever they may be on this blue globe of ours.

Not only that, but here's a few additional updates we've noticed among the travel brands on Instagram:

· Our sister sites are also starting to get into the Instagram frenzy. Search & add them on the app under "hotelchatter" and "vegaschatter."

· SAS (Instagram: flysas) has really stepped up their Instagram activity. Every day for almost the last week, they've posted several original images (including a retro shot or two). Beautiful, original stuff, too; it's not PR images from their archive or anything.

· BMI (Instagram: flybmi) is seriously gaining ground as well. Ditto for them as with SAS—BMI is putting some excellent, behind-the-scenes images out there and we eat up every one.

· Gatwick Airport (Instagram: gatwick) used Instagram today to do the most meta of meta things. They announced—via an Instagram image—their change from Gowalla to Foursquare for location-based traveler perks. Crazy.
