How to Follow Us on Singapore Airlines' First A380 Flight from New York-JFK

Our first glimpse of the A380 at JFK, hiding behind the Aer Lingus jet

We type this from the bowels of the Oasis Lounge at New York-JFK Terminal 4, where the WiFi is achingly slow and our fingers jitter from a combo of excitement and the cold air leaking in.

Tonight marks the first scheduled departure of a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 from JFK, and we'll be onboard...on flight SQ 25 all the way from New York to Frankfurt International, and on to Singapore-Changi International.

Although we'll be flying above your head for the next 22-ish hours, the fun doesn't have to stop. Quite the contrary! Here's how to follow along for all our hot and bothered Singapore A380 excitement:

· Follow us on Twitter: @Jaunted is the name and tweeting breaking travel news and photos is our game. Where there's WiFi (or 3G), we'll be there. Just keep in mind that we're all over the place the next couple days, from New York to Frankfurt to Singapore. You can also follow the personal account of Jaunted's editor, @JetSetCD, for more.
· Follow us on Foursquare: We're addicted to putting our stamp on the world, venue-by-venue, and that's where Foursquare comes in. Be our friend on Foursquare HERE, and you'll know exactly where we are by our check-ins.
· Catch our original outtakes on Instagram: We can't put all our photos on the site, and Instagram makes them cuter anyway. We'll be doing iPhoneography like crazy, focusing on the details, and uploading whenever we have a signal. (usernames: Jaunted, JetSetCD)
· Stay tuned to Jaunted.com: Whatever cool stuff there is to know from the flight and Singapore, we'll make sure you're on the in. Expect photo galleries and more fun, starting Wednesday.

[Disclosure: Air and some accommodations are as a guest of Singapore Airlines, but rest assured that all photos and opinions are utterly and completely our own]
