Virgin America Launches 'Real Steel' Plane in Honor of New Dreamworks Movie
In honor of "Real Steel," the new Hugh Jackman movie about a time in the near future when robots replace human boxers, Virgin America has launched a new Airbus A320 aircraft named “Real Steel” featuring an image of the film’s World Robot Boxing contender “Atom” on the aircraft fuselage.
Virgin America, which will be the first airline to show Real Steel in flight later this year, is also partnering with Good Morning America to give away a trip to California for the red carpet premiere of "Real Steel". To enter the contest, "Like" GMA on Facebook today and click on the "Sweepstakes" tab in the left sidebar.
The movie's star, Hugh Jackman, was there for the launch, and said, in a nice bit of product placement:
I am so happy to inaugurate this "Real Steel" Virgin America plane, and I can’t wait for the fans to see the movie on October 7th.
The "Real Steel" plane, which was unveiled at LAX on Friday, is currently flying commercial service. so be on the lookout for "Atom" on the tarmac!
