Korean Air's Latest A380 Commercial Has Us Reaching For Our Credit Card

If you’ve been paying attention to the comings and goings of the A380, you’d know that Korean Air recently got their very first big birds. The carrier is already shuttling happy passengers back and forth between New York-JFK and Seoul-Incheon International Airport, and there are plans to send similar planes further and farther.

We’ve been lucky enough to experience some A380 fun before—thanks Lufthansa—but unfortunately the in-flight duty free shop and the three onboard bars of Korean Air's A380 elude us.

If you’re feeling a little down today and are dreaming of a trip aboard a bird with the latest in in-flight technology just take a few minutes and enjoy the newest little commercial from the airline. If the marketing folks have their way, you’ll be entering your credit card before you can say "Seoul-Incheon International."

Amazing experience.

I flew NRT-ICN-NRT in business class on this A380 and it was amazing! The bar in the back of the plane (business class) has a special menu of unique Absolute cocktails only for this aircraft. The beds are truly lie-flat. The food was wonderful, and I ordered a special vegetarian meal, which is not usually so special. The flight attendants were very friendly and dressed impeccably. I want to fly this on a long-haul and really enjoy the service, space, bar, and sleep. ICN-JFK should do the trick. The only downside to KE was their AVOD which was limited, though not bad.
