I'm not one of those people who can travel luxuriously and unscathed, so I always have a small packet of tissues, bandaids, and antibacterial lotion on me, as well as a toothbrush, migraine pills and sinus pills. That Nivea lotion formula isn't sold in the US so I buy a case of them whenever I find them. Before I went to Africa I asked Twitter if there was a tinted moisturizer that could hold up to the jungle and the overwhelming response was Laura Mercier, so I carry that and the concealer case in my bag all the time.
I'm one of those people who still reads print, and lately I'm addicted to Scientific America; this issue is from my last trip to Florida... When I'm not reading, I'm sleeping so I carry a scarf and sunglasses so I can fall asleep in my own little world. I always keep an empty water bottle in my carry-on so I can fill-up at the fountain after going through security.
