The upgrade in bathroom facilities comes with the entire upgrade of the whole of SFO's Terminal 2, only recently reopened earlier in this year. The receives both Virgin America and American, although you need not be a ticketed passenger to check out the luxe loos. These bathrooms are outside security, in the arriving passengers area where the public can get at them.

While we don't recommend arranging your entire itinerary based on the promise of such fancy facilities, we do suggest making a pitstop before catching your ride into the city.'
