In addition to confusing the TSA agents with your electrified boarding pass, the new app also has a spot to check-in for flights, to track flight status, create flight alerts, and of course to set one of those handy dandy parking reminders. There’s also the ability to access your reservation to switch around seats, and they’d love to hook you up with a rental car or hotel to go along with your flight.
For Android fans, they haven’t forgotten about you! Alaska Airlines is planning to roll out similar stuff for that mobile flavor later in the year. For now you’ll have to stick with paper, as you just longingly stare into the glare of your traveling companion’s iPhone.
