Developers are promising that the whistle from the train over at the Magic Kingdom can be heard from your yard, so there’s really no way to get much closer. The fun comes at a price, as these properties range from like a million bucks to over eight million, and that’s cold hard cash, not Disney dollars. If you have some rich grandparents looking for something in the Sunshine State, it might be a good idea to get them on the mailing list. Just make sure to plant the right seeds, as they’ll have to choose from Carolwood, Silverbook, or Kimball Trace—which is a charming Tuscan-inspired village with courtyard homes, or so says the Mouse.
The first lots and homes got under development last year, and it sounds like things will be ready to go for the first time later this year. Some of the crazy benefits include door-to-door transportation between your Disney estate and the parks, and they are even ultra-fancy season passes allowing you and your crew better-than-everyone-else access. You can also expect the characters to make appearances within your little Disney-fied community, but we think they draw the line at Mickey flippin' burgers at your next backyard get together.
It's kind of crazy to say the least, but if we won the Powerball...
