Coming Soon to a Lufthansa Plane Near You: Flight Attendants in Dirndls
In exactly 24 days, it will officially be Oktoberfest in Germany, most especially in Munich where the biggest festivities go down in the form of a beer guzzling free-for-all (actually there are champagne and schnapps tents too). Still, it would only be proper for the German airline to get in on the fun, thus Lufthansa has announced that a select few of their international flights will be crewed by girls and guys dressed in dirndls and tradiational Bavarian suits.
HOT.
The flight details aren't super specific, except to say that the costumed flight crews will head from Munich to San Francisco on September 13, to Montreal on September 22 and finally September 28 to Sao Paulo. One or two may also pop up on other international flights and around Munich International Airport through October 2.
All of this compliments special Oktoberfest menus in all classes, plus the addition of a Bavarian music channel on in-flight entertainment, to get the Gemütlichkeit flowing. And, just in case you haven't yet marked it on your calendar, Oktoberfest runs from September 17 to October 3.
