If you dropped the ball on making plans for this year's Comic-Con, Atlanta's got your back-up plan.

Dragon*Con, the annual fantasy and sci-fi convention which takes place on Labor Day Weekend, will feature dozens of panels, workshops and contests for the geek in all of us.

Last year, the con actually drew more fans that San Diego Comic-Con with 40,000 people in attendance, compared to SDCC's 31,000 attendees. The number of fans flocking to Dragon*Con is no surprise considering they are bringing together geek royalty like Carrie Fischer (Star Wars), Leonard Nemoy and William Shatner (Star Trek), and Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson (Back To The Future) for this year's event.

Tickets for Dragon*Con are $105 through July 15, after that they go up to $120. You can also buy day passes starting at $30. For a look at the complete line-up and pricing details, visit Dragoncon.org.
