Stop the Presses: The Boeing 787 Might Just Be Delivered This Summer

It’s been a long time coming, but it might finally be time to order the party hats and noise makers. After numerous delays over the past few years, it looks like Boeing may finally be ready to ship its very first Boeing 787 Dreamliner to All Nippon Airways.
We’re trying not to set ourselves up for disappointment, but it looks like this time things might actually be for real. We knew a third quarter delivery was likely, and it now appears that the plane could be flying as soon as August or September. That's this same season!
In the interim, Boeing is using one of the test aircraft to help ANA get ready for when they get their very own plane. After all, we’re pretty sure they’re going to want to take it for quite the test drive once they finally get their hands on it.
We’ll be sure to let you know once a specific date has been identified, and of course once the ANA website opens up for booking a ride on the new plane—we can’t wait.
