In addition to selected films, there will also be conversations with James Franco and director Julie Taymor (who is now best known for being fired as director of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark on Broadway).
Individual tickets for films and talks start at $13 while festival passes range from $100 to $3000. All tickets go on sale May 31 and can be purchased at lafilmfest.com.
If you'd rather participate in the fest than just attend, they are still looking for volunteers too. Volunteers must attend one orientation meeting and make a commitment to work at least 20 hours between June 13 – 27, 2011. You can register here.
