Following The Dudes of 'The Hangover 2' Around Bangkok, Thailand
Okay, time to 'fess up. Who's going to see The Hangover 2 tonight and this weekend? Putting objectivity asideit. looks. awesome. We can't wait to watch the guys get into hijinks all over their bachelor party destination of Bangkok, Thailand, especially knowing the level of energy and oddity Bangkok itself brings to the travel table.
We reported several months back (while the movie was still filming) that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, and Ed Helms will begin their journey from Ontario International Airport in Ontario, California, which the movie will likely attempt to pass off as LAX.
For more of the filming locations, however, we've been pretty clueless. Luckily the Thailand-loving people of TravelHappy have dissected scenes from the preview to name all the big Bangkok spots which will soon become tourist locations thanks to major cameos in the movie.
Curious to know the name of the sky-high bar overlooking Bangkok where Paul Giamatti first shows up? It's at the Lebua Hotel at State Tower. What about the gorgeous monastery the guys check out? It doesn't exist! Actually it does...as sort of theme park called Ancient City. Read all of the locations discovered by TravelHappy at their original story HERE.
