Tweet of the Week: Mmmm Irn Bru

We love Tuesdays. Why, you ask? Because the day brings many travel tips and quips as "Travel Tuesday" on Twitter, and we're going to share our favorite with you. Got an avid travel twitterer we should follow? Let us know.

What's the foreign soda with a strong name and a nuclear-hued color? Irn Bru, aka Scotland's most popular non-alcoholic beverage, is a drink that looks like it should taste like orange soda, but actually ends up "citrus-y, cream soda-y, energy drink-y without quite tasting like any one of the three," according to a previous Jaunted taste test.

Currently it's all the rage on Twitter for unknown reasons, thought it may have something to do with this guy. Regardless, Scottish comedian and late night TV host Craig Ferguson (@CraigyFerg felt it needed a shout-out from him as well:

Irn Bru -perhaps the greatest beverage in the world (that I can drink with safety) is trending. Well done Scotland.

And now everyone far away from Scotland checking their Twitter feed are instantly craving a drink they can't easily buy. Well done, Craig Ferguson.
