The new stadium should be one of the nicest in all of Florida—we wonder if it will make the Yankees jealous—as it's due to feature its very own version of the Green Monster in the outfield. Just like the park in Boston, the wall will have seating both above and behind the wall, and of course there will be a manual scoreboard. Overall, the new park will feature the same field dimensions as Fenway, and the only difference will be a few thousand fewer seats and bleachers.
We’re thinking that there could be a good chance to score some freebies as JetBlue rolls out the welcome wagon next spring. The street behind the new park will mimic Yawkey Way in Boston, as the street will transform into an extension of the park on game day. So that’s where you’ll probably find JetBlue passing out a few pairs of tickets or at least coupons for some beers!
