Free Stuff Alert: Austrian Airlines Takes to the DC Streets to Give Away Coffee and Flights
Heywould you like to fly to Austria for free, or at least score a complimentary cup of some nice Austrian coffee? Apparently Austrian Airlines is putting some pilots and chefs out on the street of Washington DC and New York City these next couple weeks to get people thinking about Vienna, via their tastebuds.
First up is Washington DC. Starting today, "dashing pilots" will dispense free Julius Meinl coffee from rocketpacks, stationed in high-traffic areas around the city. They'll also tell you how to enter to win a pair of tickets direct from either DC or NY to Vienna.
Here's the full schedule of where to find them in DC, April 25-May 1:
Monday April 25th:
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: Union Station
Tuesday April 26th:
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: World Bank /Farragut Square area
Wednesday April 27th:
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: Federal Triangle area
Thursday April 28th:
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: Tyson’s Corner
Friday April 29th:
8:30 am – 2:30 pm: Eastern Market/Capitol Hill area
Saturday April 30th:
10:00 am – 4:00 pm: Alexandria near water
Sunday May 1st:
10:00 am – 4:00 pm: GeorgeTown – near sequoia
We'll have more details on their NYC appearances (rumored to include pastries!), which begins around May 1.
Of course you could always just directly enter the contest here and skip the coffee, but where's the fun in that?
