Atlanta Airport is Lucky Enough to Have the World's Best Coca-Cola Machine

On a recent journey through the wonder that is the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, we stumbled upon the coolest thing in sugary sweet beverage technology, and best of all it was right next to Chick-fil-A. Coca-Cola calls it the fountain of the future, and we have to agree.

We witnessed the world’s fanciest soda machine just outside of gate A11, but apparently there’s another one to play with near gate D30. It’s called the Coca-Cola Freestyle and it is kind of like a computerized soda fountain complete with touch screen controls. It offers way more options than the typical soda machine, as options include about 100 different varieties of Coke products.

You’ve got your basics like Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite, but then there are all kinds of alternate offerings on the basic flavors. There must be a lot of the sweet stuff inside the machine, as the one we played with had different flavors and variations on the basics—like grape-flavored Sprite or Diet Coke with a dash of orange. It was pretty hard not to relive our childhood memories and just fill our cup with like eight different flavors.

Alright, we realize it’s just a soda machine, but it is still pretty darn cool to check out if you’re in the area. Soda engineers spent like four years on this thing, so at least check it out so they can keep their jobs. The machine has been out since 2009, but this is the first time we’ve seen it in the wild—and we just had to share!

Cool Coke Machine

Agreed. I'm a Coke fanatic and this is the coolest Coke Machine. There are also two on Royal Caribbean's new Allure of the Seas. I want one for my home.

Are you kidding me? There is one of these machines in the Fatburger I go to, they have never bragged about how lucky they are to have it.
