Virtually Book Your Seat Onboard Lufthansa's A380 Inaugural Flight to JFK, and Win It

In a little less than two weeks, New York's JFK Airport will see another humongous airplane parking at its gates—Lufthansa's A380. The double-decker superjumbo will begin jetting across the pond to Frankfurt starting February 28, and Lufthansa wants you (if you're on Twitter) to join them onboard for the fun and festivities...for free.

To get in on the action, check out their SeatTweet Contest. All you have to do is click on an unreserved seat on the A380's large seating plan (either of the two decks), let Lufthansa connect to your Twitter and tweet your "virtual seat reservation" on your account, and you're entered to win one of the four tip packages onboard the inaugural flight—which includes round-trip airfare, hotel, and tours and parties at the Lufthansa base in Frankfurt.

You can enter to win everyday, once a day from 11am EST, by virtually booking a seat and tweeting. It's quite a cute little contest and the picking a seat action makes it feel more real, as if you actually have a chance at getting onboard this thing. After all, only so many people per day can enter as there are seats onboard.

If you want to check out what you'll be getting yourself into by traveling on Lufthansa'a A380, do check out our stories and photos from flying on its first-first inaugural flight only last year. And good luck!
