Need an Italy Vacation Rental? How About Berlusconi's Sex Castle?

He has property inside and outside of Milan, a palazzo in Rome and a villa in Sardinia, and yet all these lovely locations aren't enough to host Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi's retinue of call girls. According to the Telegraph UK and intercepted communications, Silvio's dalliances have lately been focused instead on a rented 15th century castle just outside of Rome—the Castello di Torcrescenza.

What Berlusconi hosts there are "dinners" with former Playboy models and other beautiful women, likely prostitutes procured from various sources he has, sources which are now being publicly named. Thus, we can only believe the his castle "dining" is over and you can look into renting the place for your next wholesome family vacation in Italy...or for other things. It does sounds nice:

The castle's website says it is surrounded by extensive parkland and a golf course and is the private home of Princess Sofia Borghese Ferrari Sardagna di Newburg and Hohenstein, a direct descendant of Pope Paul V.

'Donna Sofia has cleverly and lovingly returned this enchanting place to life, opening the courtyards for exclusive events and a number of the outbuildings for friends who wish to stay here,' the website says.

Oh, so the place is owned by a descendant of a Pope? That means Berlusconi's scandal is hardly the first illicit affair this place has known. Sadly there's no published rental prices for the place, but you can stay in another castle somewhat nearby for the reasonable rate of 169 Euro (and up) per night. That's the Castello Della Castelluccia, but unfortunately you'll just have your one room and now a whole house for storing your lovers. You can peek at some interior pictures here (towards the bottom) thanks to a wedding reception that was held there.
