Celebs Celebrate Valentine's Day with Flowers, Dinner, and Trips to St. Barts

Stars really are just like us, at least when it comes to Valentine's Day. Most celebs spent yesterday buying candies, cookies, flowers and fancy dinners for their significant others, just like we did.

David Beckham proved he's no cheapskate last night when he treated his wife, Victoria Beckham, to dinner at New York City's Minetta Tavern. The restaurant features signature dishes like Veal "Porterhouse" Chop, Bone-In New York Strip, and Filet Mignon au Roquefort ranging in price from $40 - $52 a plate.

On the west coast, Kate Hudson bought some surprisingly affordable sweets for her sweetie at Mauro's Cafe Fred Segal after they enjoyed a romantic breakfast together.

But, Joshua Jackson one-upped them both by waiting for girlfriend Diane Kruger to arrive at LAX with a dozen roses. Diane had been in NYC doing press for her upcoming movie Unknown but made a point of getting back to L.A. in time for a date night with Josh.

Flowers, treats, and dinner are nice, but if we had to choose, we'd take Demi Moore's Valentine's Day gift over them all. Ashton Kutcher took his wife on a romantic beach getaway to St. Barts for V Day where the couple lounged by the ocean and caught up on some reading, including the The Youth Pill, about the possibility that one day there will be a drug to "turn off" the aging gene. We wonder who he's trying to keep youthful, himself, or Demi?
