Apparently things are so on target that some other airlines are getting excited for their deliveries in 2011. We already know that ANA is anxiously awaiting their very first plane, but it looks like Air India is now counting down the days until they get to see one of the Dreamliner jets in their livery.
Boeing said that Air India should be getting their plane during the fourth quarter of this year, but since the fourth quarter of this year is near the first quarter of next year, we’ll see it when we believe it. We’re thinking the suits at Air India are thinking the same, so don’t except a new route announcement anytime soon—remember what happened to Continental’s plans for New Zealand.
