If you were wondering why the Empire State Building was lit up in green and red last night, it wasn't just because they were in the spirit of the season, they were actually providing the backdrop for a pre-taped performance by Jessie J that will air on NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly.

Carson will be filming performances for the upcoming special all week in New York City and you can be a part of the audience! Tonight they will taping two performances by The Roots with Jimmy Fallon and Tony Bennett, both of which will air on NBC on New Year's Eve.

They are also looking for music fans to be a part of the New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square on December 31 which will include a performance by Drake and front row seats for the ball drop.
