Local restaurants and retail will be joining the likes of more familiar names within the airport. Mise En Place, the Columbia Café, Cigar City Brewing, and the Green Iguana are a few of the new tenants who will soon call the airport home. In total, the main terminal of the airport will gain like five “enhanced” stores and restaurants, and they’ll be tossing another 20-something additions in the airside section.
Future plans include maybe adding an airport spa—or just place to score a quick mani/pedi. Airport officials also want to cash in on the airport security bin advertising craze, as all these updates and niceties don’t just pay for themselves. So if you’re flying through TPA anytime soon, just be sure to keep an eye out for some of their new stuff.
